Easy Vegetarian Recipes

A vegetarian diet can be cheaper, healthier, more enviornmentally friendly and most of all kinder to animals. Most of my recipes don't have amounts, just ingredients. You can add how much you like and experiment!

About This Blog

  • Being vegetarian and also liking to cook and experiment prompted me to share my recipes. Most of my recipes are vegan as I eat mostly vegan food. Also most of my recipes are wheat free as my husband can't have it, along with yeast and sugar. I'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative or if anyone has recipes they'd like to share with me. I used to suffer terribly with migraines before I stopped eating meat. Now they hardly ever bother me. There is a website to share with you on the subject; http://www.bhj.org/books/diets/chap9.htm. Mind you it's no guarantee as I've known other vegetarians who still suffer. But it might be worth a try anyway. If you're vegan or you can't have yeast, sugar or wheat, the cookbook "Get It Ripe" by Jae Steele is very useful. I purchased it recently and I highly recommend it!

About Me

My photo
Anne
I am a happily married animal lover. My husband and I have fostered cats for the Toronto Humane Society since 2003. After doing this I really admire those who foster children, it must be much harder, more rewarding but also a lot more painful letting them go. I support local animal rights and welfare groups. I feel it's important to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves, such as children, animals and those who live in countries ruled by tyrants. If you're after a pet, whether it's a dog, cat, bird, rabbit or rat, don't shop, ADOPT! Go to your local animal shelter.
